The Porter Page

I went to college at Northland, then came home and married my wonderful husband, Sam, in 2004. We currently live in Honolulu, HI with our dog Magnum.

LONG time no post!

I'm so sorry folks! I'm sure no one even checks this anymore due to my lack of updates. Well life for us has started to get back to normal... whatever that is! It took me a while to get adjusted to Sam being home since I was mentally prepared for him to be gone a year. I know how dare he interrupt my schedule. :-) So here's what you missed.... Sam has been working some late hours, but I can't complain cuz he's home.

We have also been having tons of car troubles. When Sam is not at work he's out working on our cars or someone else's. He's such a sweetie, he can't say no.

I've been working at the Preschool a lot more, so I come home exhausted! There are a set of twin girls who I ADORE! They are identical, a lot of trouble, and look like they could be mine... and act like it too. :-) They remind me of myself at that age. Maybe God is preparing me for something, which I wouldn't mind. I actually want twin girls. :-)

I joined Curves, and I like it a lot better than working out at a regular gym. It's nice that it's only female, and the one I go to is owned by a Christian lady and there are verses on the wall to encourage you daily. Let's see what else.....

I also got my hair cut and highlighted couple weeks ago. Oh and I treated myself and got a pedicure just this afternoon. (red with white flowers on the big toe) I know you wanted to know. :-)

It seems like I should have more to write about since it's been two months...but I guess I lead a boring life. Well, if you still check this site out, thanks for being faithful. If I get any comments, or remember more I'll write more. :-) Love ya'll!

My mom always says one of us is bound to have twins, maybe it will be you and Sam. It does run in our family.

Hey I've been checking it. But I've been almost as bad as you at writing in mine.
As far as twins go, we want to have a
boy/girl set of twins because we can't decide if we would rather have a boy first or a girl first (not that we have any control over that :), but either way I think any kind of twins would be fun to have, whenever the time comes to have kids.
